Pro Bono Program

Scope of the Commitment

Where a startup is accepted into the program, TKEG Expat ™ (NZ) waives its professional fees for a period of twelve months. During that year we undertake the formation of the company and its ongoing compliance, including the following:

• Company incorporation
• Bank account
• Registered address
• Accounting and bookkeeping
• Tax registration
• Annual return

The waiver applies to TKEG Expat ™ (NZ)'s professional fees only. Government charges remain payable by the applicant where the relevant jurisdiction imposes them.

Eligibility

To be considered, an applicant must satisfy each of the following:

1. The applicant is an early-stage startup — recently formed, or not yet trading at scale.
2. The applicant has not previously incorporated a company in the chosen jurisdiction.
3. The founders are resident outside the chosen jurisdiction.
4. One pro bono grant is available per founder or founding team.
5. The founders are able to complete TKEG Expat ™ (NZ)'s standard know-your-client (KYC) and onboarding procedures.
6. Admission to the program is at TKEG Expat ™ (NZ)'s discretion and remains subject to review and available capacity.
